Who is Klever Kitten?
With her four eyes and nine lives, Klever Kitten is known for her wicked way with words, love of proper punctuation, and passion for pink cocktails. She rose to fame through Klever Kitten’s Korner, her wildly popular blog chronicling life’s great pleasures, minor inconveniences, and the occasional social snafu.
A devoted reader, her favorite book is One Hundred Years of Caviar. When she’s not publishing sharp observations for her followers, she’s usually hosting friends and dazzling them with her signature Szechuan tuna.
Klever Kitten values her independence. She’s just as comfortable dining alone in London as she is traveling solo to the Maldives. And when she’s sipping a coral cocktail on the white sands of Huvafen Fushi, she’ll get back to you when she wants to.

Marisa Howenstine, a designer and award-winning photographer, fell hard for Hello Kitty at six, shopping for back-to-school supplies at San Francisco’s Stonestown Galleria. As the years passed, she never grew out of Hello Kitty — Hello Kitty just never grew up with her. So she built the version that did: Klever Kitten, a world of cat-character stationery and gifts made for grown-ups.
A SF native now soaking up the sun in Los Angeles, Marisa has a penchant for all things pink. Fun fact: while she adores cat characters, Marisa is deathly allergic to cats in real life.
Marisa can always be found in a chic cocktail lounge with her pink Fendi cat-eye glasses — the same goes for Klever Kitten.
